ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at ISSTA 2025
Our ISSTA 2025 paper on assessing scene-generation techniques for COLREGS-compliance testing received an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award, given to papers the programme committee judges to be among the best accepted at the conference.
- ISSTA is one of the leading conferences in software testing and analysis

At ISSTA 2025 in Trondheim, the ACM International Symposium on Software Testing and Analysis, our paper Assessing Scene Generation Techniques for Testing COLREGS-Compliance of Autonomous Surface Vehicles received an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award. The award marks papers that the programme committee considers among the best accepted to the conference.
It was the first paper of my PhD, written with my supervisors Ulf Kargén and Dániel Varró. That made the award a clear sign that systematic testing for maritime autonomy is a problem the software-testing community cares about.
