Industry
Before the PhD I spent two and a half years building systems for other people: firmware for fleet trackers, a cooperative fleet of autonomous robot cars, and an enterprise system for a multinational automotive supplier.

Software Engineer: Inventory Management System for Valeo
Artillence Kft. · Budapest, Hungary
Designed, managed and developed an enterprise inventory management system for Valeo Automotive's offices in Budapest, Erlangen, Giza, Cergy and other sites. I led requirements analysis, Python development, CI/CD, testing and validation, documentation and customer coordination.

Research Intern in Autonomous Embedded Systems
Nokia Bell Labs · Budapest, Hungary
Designed, built and programmed Raspberry Pi–based autonomous robot cars in C++ to study cooperative multi-agent driving on a down-scaled test track. The core was 9-axis IMU sensor fusion with a self-correcting heading controller for stable line following, and a compact V2V message protocol for sharing vehicle state across the fleet.

Embedded Systems Software Developer
iData Kft. (iData Telematics) · Budapest, Hungary
Developed ARM STM32 firmware in C++ (and tooling in Python) for GPS-based fleet tracking devices: GPS/server clock synchronisation, synchronised sensor sampling, a variable-bit-width message serialisation protocol, and on-device performance telemetry.

TDDC88 Software Engineering: project supervisor for architecture and integration
Linköping University, Department of Computer and Information Science · Linköping, Sweden
Supervising simulated software companies of 25–30 students that each build a product for a real industrial customer (Axis Communications in 2026). My area is architecture, design, configuration management and integration, which I also grade.
