MODELS 2026 in Málaga: three papers, three talks
The ACM/IEEE International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems, where I presented a research paper, a tool demonstration and a doctoral symposium paper in the same week.
- 15-min research talk: functionally complete assurance suites
- 12-min tool demo: SceneGEMS
- 5-min doctoral symposium pitch

MODELS is the main conference of the model-driven engineering community. The 2026 edition ran from 4 to 9 October in Málaga, and for me it was the week where two years of PhD work came together. I had three papers in three different tracks:
| Track | Paper | Talk |
|---|---|---|
| Research papers | Automated Generation of Functionally Complete Assurance Suites … | 15 min |
| Tools & Demonstrations | SceneGEMS | 12 min, live demo |
| Doctoral Symposium | Model-Driven Scenario-Based Assurance … | 5 min + panel feedback |
The three talks fit together. The doctoral symposium pitch set out the overall goal, the research talk showed how functional completeness is achieved, and the demo showed the whole pipeline running end to end.
The week before, I attended the FAME school in Málaga.
